• Never pluck, wax, tweeze, have electrolysis, or use depilatory creams between your laser hair removal treatments. The hair must be attached to the follicle for effective treatment. You may shave anytime.

  • After treatment, your skin may be sensitive to heat for a day or two. You may have redness and inflammation around the follicles for a few days. There is no special care required after treatment, though, except use of sunscreen during sun exposure.

  • Don’t use sunless tanning products, get sunburns, or moderately tan during your treatments. Some sun in the area treated us fine but the skin needs to be protected to remain close to your natural color.

  • It may appear after you depilation session that the hair is still ‘growing’. Sometimes changing in appearance, thicker and even becoming darker. This is perfectly normal and is within the shedding stage of treatment. Over a period of ten to twenty-one days, the hair will fall out and you will notice a smoother texture to your skin. It is a good idea to regularly, lightly exfoliate, this helps the process and reduces the occurrence of ingrown hairs.

  • Can I shave after my laser session? After 48 hours, you are able to shave the treated area. Some people like to leave it a bit longer depending on your own skins sensitivity. Shaving anytime is fine between your appointments. As your treatments progress their will permanently be less and less hair.

  • Don’t forget to shave the day before, or of, your next session.
